Supervisor, Administrative Assistants
We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Administrative Assistants
Qualifications
Five years of working experience in a progressively responsible office or administrative management position
Two years in a supervisory role
Prior management and supervisory experience with responsibility for the allocation of resources, analysis of requirements, and management of work flow
Demonstrated knowledge of common business practices and basic human resource protocols
Knowledge of office equipment, computers, and the Microsoft suite of business software
Strong interpersonal communication and listening skills; strong written communication skills; and excellent presentation skills
Excellent skills related to situational assessment, problem-solving, and negotiation
Responsive approach to needs, questions or problems encountered on a daily basis
High level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to motivate through a participative and open management style
Duties
Responsible for the supervision of administrative assistants serving the needs of client service professionals in varied product lines, offsite and onsite
Manage day-to-day issues related to staffing, workflow, and personnel issues
Promote teamwork, training, goal setting, and positive communication
Interact frequently with Partners and Managers regarding practice needs for administrative support
Manage projects related to the assessment of administrative workload and the management of workflow
Contribute to the success of the office by encouraging top notch performance of the administrative assistant team and by hiring quality personnel
